Cancellation by the tenant

  • Cooling-off period: a booking can be cancelled free of charge within 3 days of the booking date by email. This cooling-off period does not apply to bookings made within 30 days of the start of the rental period.
  • For cancellations after these 3 days or bookings within 30 days before the rental period, the following cancellation conditions apply.
  • Cancellations must be communicated to the owner by email, after which you will receive a cancellation confirmation.
  • For cancellations up to the 30th day before the start of the stay, the cancellation fee is the deposit of 30% of the rental price.
  • For cancellations between the 30th day and the 14th day before the start of the stay, the cancellation fee is 50% of the rental price.
  • For cancellations after the 14th day before the start of the stay, the cancellation fee is 75% of the rental price.
  • From 48 hours before arrival, the cancellation fee is 100%.
  • Cancellation insurance: cancellations that are eligible for cancellation insurance will be handled in accordance with the insurance terms and conditions of your insurance company.
  •  The guest list must be submitted at least 4 days prior to arrival.

Booking request and payments

  • Each booking will be confirmed by the owner by email.
  • Within five days of receiving this booking confirmation, a deposit of 30% of the rental price (rounded to a whole number) must be paid.
  • The reminder of the rental price + a deposit of 500 euros must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of the rental period.
  • For bookings made within 30 days before the start of the rental period, the total rental price + the deposit of 500 euros must be paid.
  • The deposit will be refunded within a week after departure, after checking the inventory.
  • In the event of late payment of the deposit and/or balance of the rental price and deposit, the owner is entitled to cancel the booked period for the rental of the holiday home. The cancellation conditions described in will then apply.

Cancellation by the landlord
If circumstances or force majeure force the owner to cancel due to a defect in the property, the tenant will be notified immediately and the owner will refund the amount already paid without delay. The tenant has no other right than to reclaim the amount paid.

 

House rules

  • Pets are not permitted.

  • Smoking and vaping are prohibited throughout the entire accommodation.

  • No (bachelor) parties are permitted.

  • The infrastructure of the house is exclusively intended for paying guests.

  • Adults aged 21 and over.

  • No deep-frying, fondue, stone grilling, raclette machines, etc.

  • Before departure: leave the accommodation swept clean, wash the dishes, empty and sort the rubbish bins, lock windows and doors, clean the barbecue and turn off all lights.
